We believe mobility is the foundation of athleticism.
MEET THE CALISTONS
Hi Friends!
Fascia has been a dream in our hearts that originated from a confident belief that mobility, the ability to move freely with control and ease, makes everything else you do better. So why should mobility be treated as an afterthought?
We set out to remove the barriers to a consistent mobility practice by creating classes that are not only effective, but something you'll genuinely look forward to. Our mission is to empower people to move with greater ease and elevate performance through quality education, helping mobility become recognized as one of the true pillars of athleticism alongside strength and conditioning.
Our hope is that you feel welcome, move with a little more ease, connect with a community that values movement, and leave Fascia feeling better than how you arrived.
Cheers,
Bethany & Chingis Caliston, Founders of Fascia Mobility Cafe
Meet Bethany
Bethany Caliston, CSCS, is a certified strength and conditioning specialist with a passion for movement. Early on in her career, she had the privilege of studying under Ann & Chris Frederick, pioneers in fascia education, where she discovered that having healthy, unrestricted (gliding) fascia was the key to unlocking a competitive edge. Since then, Bethany has worked alongside elite athletes in the NFL, NHL, and with Team USA Olympians to help develop their functional range of motion, prevent injury, and optimize recovery.
In addition to her obsession with fascia and mobility, Bethany is a registered yoga instructor who also holds certifications in breathwork, nutrition, and mat Pilates. She is the author of Overcoming Injury, a Guide to Navigating Injury, Surgery, and Pain, a book born from her desire to empower people to discover how amazing their bodies are designed to feel.
